LOVING OTHERS

                                   LOVING OTHERS  -  29th Nov 2012

Today quiet time teach us to love one another as Jesus had told us early in bible. We are to love each other as Jesus loved us, and he loved us enough to give his life for us. We may not have to die for someone, but there are other ways to practice sacrificial love such as listening, helping, encouraging, giving.
Think of someone in particular who needs this kind of love today. Give all the love you can, and then try to give a little more.

Besides, Jesus said our love for each other  is our greatest witness to the world. He said, "your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples." So, start to practicing this greatest command in our life now.

Love is more than simply warm feelings; it is an attitude that reveals itself in action. How can we love others as Jesus loves us? By helping when it's not convenient, by giving when it hurts, by devoting energy to others' welfare rather than our own, by absorbing hurts from others without complaining or fighting back. This kind of loving is hard to do. That is why people notice when you do it and know you are empowered by a supernatural source. The Bible has another beautiful description of love in 1 Corinthians 13.

In conclusion, the best time to love is now. Our life is all about love. Start to care and love the people around us in our life, whenever you possibly can, whenever you have the opportunity.

  • My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. (John 15:12-14)
  • Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does not harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:9-10)
  • Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter 1:22)

"The best use of life is LOVE, The best expression of LOVE is time. The best time to LOVE is now."
